These Guidelines apply to everyone who publishes anything on Fixovio: drivers writing reviews, and workshops publishing Listings and replies. They are part of the Terms of Service and the Business Terms.

This document is a translation of the official Polish text, which is the binding version. In the event of any discrepancy, the Polish text prevails.

1. Core principles

  • Honesty and authenticity: base everything you publish on your own direct experience.
  • Respect: constructive criticism is welcome; personal insults, harassment, hate speech and threats are forbidden.
  • Privacy and data protection: protect your own privacy and respect the personal data and rights of others.
  • Legality: never publish illegal content or material that infringes the rights of others.

2. Prohibited content

The following content is prohibited everywhere on Fixovio:

  • Illegal content: defamation, threats, incitement to violence, hate speech, unlawful discrimination, or content infringing intellectual property (copyright, trademarks), personal rights (dobra osobiste) or privacy.
  • Fake or misleading content: reviews not based on a real visit, claims about visits that did not take place as described, or misleading statements about a workshop's services, qualifications or prices.
  • Offensive content: vulgar language aimed at individuals, or discriminatory remarks based on sex, race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation or nationality.
  • Personal data without a legal basis: phone numbers, home addresses, licence plates, full names of workshop employees, or photos of identifiable people published without a legal basis or otherwise in breach of privacy law.
  • Spam and advertising: unsolicited links, promotional material for third parties, referral codes or repeated identical posts.
  • Fraud and phishing: attempts to obtain money, credentials or personal data from users or businesses by deception.

3. Reviews by drivers

3.1 How we verify reviews

To make sure that reviews come from people who actually used a workshop's services, as required by EU and Polish consumer law:

  • you may review a workshop only after completing a visit booked through Fixovio;
  • you may submit one review per completed booking, within 60 days of the visit.

Fixovio does not edit or check reviews before publication. Published reviews may be reviewed by a person after a report.

3.2 What makes a helpful review

A helpful review describes:

  • the service you asked for and the work done;
  • punctuality and communication;
  • the final price compared with the initial estimate;
  • the overall result of the diagnosis or repair.

3.3 Prohibited review practices

The following are forbidden:

  • reviews written, commissioned, paid for or rewarded by the workshop owner, its employees, their relatives or competitors;
  • reviews submitted or changed in exchange for discounts, gifts, money or other benefits;
  • reviews about topics unrelated to the visit (for example political opinions or other businesses);
  • photos showing visible licence plates, identity documents or identifiable faces without consent.

3.4 Public attribution

Reviews are shown with your first name and the first letter of your last name (for example "Jan K.").

4. Workshop Listings and public replies

4.1 Listing standards

Workshops must keep their Listings accurate, in line with Annex C of the Business Terms: a real business address, actual opening hours, honest starting prices and their own photos of the workshop.

4.2 Workshop replies

  • A workshop may post one public reply per review.
  • Replies must be factual, professional and respectful.
  • Replies must not reveal the driver's full name, contact details, or details of the transaction or vehicle that the driver did not share in the review.

4.3 Review integrity

Workshops cannot delete reviews and must not intimidate, pressure or bribe drivers to change or delete them. A workshop that disagrees with a review may post a public reply or report it under section 6.

5. How reviews are displayed and ratings calculated

5.1. Reviews are shown newest first.

5.2. A workshop's rating is the simple (unweighted) arithmetic average of all its published reviews.

5.3. Workshops cannot pay to filter, hide or boost their ratings or their position.

5.4. If a review is removed after a moderation decision, the rating is recalculated automatically.

6. Reporting content (notice and action)

6.1. Anyone may report a Listing, photo, workshop description, review or workshop reply with the Report button in the app, or by email to contact@fixovio.pl.

6.2. Report categories:

  • Illegal content
  • Spam or advertising
  • Offensive or hateful content
  • Fake or misleading information
  • Unauthorised personal information
  • Fraud or scam
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Something else

6.3. Notices of illegal content (Article 16 DSA). When reporting illegal content, give:

  • a clear explanation of why you believe the content is illegal;
  • the exact location of the content (the report button adds it automatically);
  • your name and email address (required only if you have no account);
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the notice is accurate and complete.

6.4. Confirmation: you immediately receive a confirmation with a reference number.

7. Moderation, appeals and redress

7.1. Human moderation: every report is reviewed by a person. Fixovio does not use automated content moderation.

7.2. Measures: after the review, Fixovio may:

  • keep the content unchanged;
  • remove or hide part of the content (for example personal data);
  • remove the content;
  • temporarily or permanently suspend a workshop Listing for serious or repeated breaches.

7.3. Statement of reasons: the reporter and the author of the content are informed of the decision, with the legal or contractual ground for it and the available means of redress (Article 17 DSA).

7.4. Appeals:

  • authors and reporters may contest a moderation decision within 6 months of being notified of it;
  • appeals can be submitted with the link in the decision message in the app or by replying to the decision email;
  • appeals are reviewed by a person, where possible one who did not take the original decision.

7.5. Out-of-court settlement and courts (Article 21 DSA): users may refer moderation disputes to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or to a competent court.

7.6. Measures against misuse (Article 23 DSA): after a prior warning, Fixovio may suspend for a reasonable period the accounts of users who frequently publish manifestly illegal content, and stop processing reports from people who frequently submit manifestly unfounded reports. Serious breaches may also lead to termination under the Terms of Service or the Business Terms.
